China's Heavy Truck Exports Rise 66.9% in July as Tanzania Shipment Sets Jingjiang Port Record

China’s truck exports reached 107,000 units in July 2026, up 66.9% year on year, according to data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers on August 12. Within that total, heavy trucks were the main source of incremental growth.

One of the clearest signals came on July 4, when China National Heavy Duty Truck Group shipped 513 domestically made heavy trucks from Jingjiang Port to Tanzania, including 493 tractor units and 20 dump trucks. It was the first large-scale export of domestically produced heavy trucks through that port, and also set a new record for the port’s outbound heavy-truck volume.
